Photo of the Week: Week 6

This is Cooper. Isn't he precious? He's a little scared of my camera, but I thought this was a cute picture for the photo of the week. I took this with my new D7000! Enjoy!

Photo of the Week: Week 5

On Saturday, I was given the opportunity to take portraits for Meagan Dragelin. They turned out beautiful! I have not finished editing them all yet, but I really loved this one, so I chose it to be the photo of the week! Enjoy!

Photo of the Week: Week 4

This is a photo I took last year at Duke Gardens. I have an old polaroid camera I bought when I was seven, so I thought I would try something different. Enjoy!

Megan & Sarah | Portraits

On Sunday, I got together with Megan and Sarah to take some portraits for my photography class using my film camera. We didn't have a lot of time, but I was able to take some pictures on my digital camera, and they turned out great! I'm really pleased with them! I will definitely be taking more pictures of these two lovely ladies soon!

Photo of the Week: Week 3

I have been so busy during my spring break that I forgot to post the photo of the week on Sunday! So here is the Photo of the Week for Week 3. I realize that this picture is from the post below, but I really love this picture and wanted it to be the Photo of the Week.

Love

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongsLove does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails." 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

A teacher I once had said that "Love is wanting God's best for someone, expecting nothing in return, beliving it will probably cost you something." That's what I've been trying to do: do more for others than I do for myself. If you love someone, you do what's best for them, which may not always be what you want, but you do it because you care about them. Sometimes, it's really difficult, but He will get you through it.
