The last couple of days have been amazing! I have learned so much about photography and the photography business already. On Wednesday, I got together with Greg and we worked on lighting. He showed me how to manually set the aperture, shutter speed, and ISO in order to take a good picture in bad lighting (which is AWESOME because I'm usually having to take pictures in bad lighting). Greg also taught me how to meter for the correct spot in a picture, which is really great to know. Sam came to the studio and I took pictures of him while practicing different lighting placements with my light box.
On Thursday, I worked with Shannon on the computer aspect of photography. She taught me how to put together an album using Photoshop. It was really neat! We were supposed to meet with a bride to put together an album, but she couldn't make it, so we worked on another album instead. Shannon also taught me different techniques to use while editing photos in Lightroom and Photoshop, so I have been putting those to good use! I'm excited for Saturday because we are doing an engagement session! It will be my first official shoot as an intern, and I'm really looking forward to it! Anyways, I'll post some of the lighting practice pictures later because I have to work tomorrow and it's getting late. Good night!

April was an extremely busy, but successful month! I had many sessions, most of them for fun, and I am really pleased with the feedback I have been getting from people. I also got 13 new likes on Facebook this month, which is awesome!!!! I now have 100 likes on Facebook! You guys are so amazing and I appreciate your support!
